ESF offers you the chance to discover Sainte Foy's heritage whilst you ski!

The Monal is a listed hamlet thanks to its rich history and architecture. Located in the heart of the Clou valley, the Monal is surrounded by larch forests and looks out across the Mont Pourri glaciers.

After a stunning descent off piste, your instructor will offer you the chance to taste some local produce.

What equipment is compulsory for off piste outings?

A transceiver, shovel and probe are compulsory. A helmet is highly recommended.

Is off piste safety equipment provided?

Yes, a transceiver, shovel and probe can be provided for our group lesson off piste outings. If you would like an ABS bag, you can rent one from one of the Skiset shops in resort https://www.skiset.com/station-ski/sainte-foy-en-tarentaise

If the avalanche risk is high, will the outing go ahead?

Off piste outings can be cancelled due to weather conditions and/or avalanche risk. The instructor will decide, at the latest the morning of the outing.

If the instructor decides to cancel the outing, we will offer an alternative date or issue a refund.
